First Firing

The morning of the first firing I looked out to the garden and look who was watching! A very large Red Tailed Hawk sitting on the gatepost to the entrance of the garden. What a magnificent animal. I am hoping that he/she is a good omen for the upcoming firing.

Hey Bob,
Congrats on the first firing!! The pictures look great. Your pottery is beautiful as always. I see the Fine Art Ramblers are playing next Sat. in G'ville. All well here...I am invited to go the Miami game Monday. (I want to be there for that.) Went out tonight...Tallahassee is crazy and will be the entire weekend in anticipation of the game. Love to all there, Larry

Yes, would be horrid if the "innocent bird" "accidentally" broke one of your "pots" - because knowing how you have been with your students in the past, you would probably KILL the bird for doing so.
